Mission Statement:The mission of the Sexually Transmitted Disease Program is to prevent, treat, and/or control the spread of HIV, STD, and other communicable diseases to protect the health of the citizens of Cameron County. In keeping with this mission, we manage available resources so that we may: provide communicable disease education and information, collect, interpret, and distribute data related to HIV and STD and other communicable diseases services and provide medication and supplies to prevent, manage, and treat communicable diseases. In pursuit of this mission, we will make every effort to assure that the citizens of Cameron County receive quality services.
