Communications
Communications provides the County advanced communications support for all voice and data projects, including all other related duties as required.
This includes:

Provide detail communications design & specification for voice & data installations.

Coordinate installation projects as determined by Chief Information Officer & Operations Supervisor.

Performs complete wire runs & drops for communications service requests.

Provide clerical and administrative support to the Supervisor and Chief Information Officer.

Answer, screen, route telephone calls, and responds to service requests.

Setup and configure phone systems where suitable.
-
Develop & maintain data wire documentation as per Standard Operating Procedures.

Orders, receives and maintains communications supplies and equipment for the department.

Submits weekly Billing & Activity Reports.
-
Performs other duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor.
