Bond and Civil Division

Bond Division:

The Bond Division is in charge of collecting the bail bond of those who fail to appear in court. Also, the bonds division advises the bail bond administrator and the county bail bond board.

Civil Division:

If a case involves property used in criminal activity, the Civil Division will file for forfeiture of the property to avoid its use in future crimes. They also represent the state in mental commitment hearings and conduct legal research on cases of interest to the district attorney's office.
